North America-United States of America-Oregon-Heceta Head This is a famous lighthouse from a bygone time. A nice walk up to see it and the house nearby where the lighthouse keepers used to live. Quite a busy location. |

North America-United States of America-Oregon-Portland This was my entry point into mainland USA. Portland I had heard a lot about so looking forward to visiting here. It is a very querky we would say. As one of the locals said to me.. "Living here is like halloween every day " ! . I did visit the famous rose garden, hence the selection of this postcard. |

North America-Alaska-Anchorage The main city in Alaska It was so nice and warm when here compared to what I would have thought. Nice floral displays abound. Went to a great restaurant and the fish was amazing. |
