Helsinki Finland

Europe-Finland-Helsinki  Here is the iconic Railway station in Helsinki. I just love this building . Here in Glorious May 2007.

I like this stamp with the silver snowflake. The post office of Finland is really tuned in. Great selection and styles of stamps.

Europe-Finland-Helsinki  This is a overview picture of Helsinki. You can see the Russian influence with the big buildings. One of my favourite cities in Scandinavia.

Well I was in Helsinki for my final Eurovision Song Contest. As usual the country now issues a special stamp. Finland have a unusual shape here and a great postmark to mark the date.

Europe-Finland-Helsinki  This is known as the "Stone Church". It is in fact Temppeliaukio church. A beautiful church inside and even the ceiling is amazing.

Three postcards all posted in Helsinki, ok different locations and hey presto all different postmarks. Well done again to the Finnish post office. Here we again have a unusual shape stamp .
