Asia-Sri Lanka-Nwara Eliya This Tudor style red brick Post Office was constructed in 1894 by the British and is one of the oldest Post offices in Sri Lanka. It is also on most tourists maps in this area . I was delighted to find it was open on the Sunday when I visited. |

| Even though the Post Office was open when I got here on a Sunday they only had a small selection of stamps. The Philatelic section was only open Monday to Friday. |
